A special early vintage bespoke tweed jacket. The quality and style is typical of a jacket from the 1940s, bespoke tailored for an individual client, in Lincoln England by Lawrence Clarke, 43 Silver Street. Lawrence trained and worked on Savile Row and this jacket is tailored as good as any Savile Row jacket would be.
Unsure of exact age, style and quality of the 40s and 50s but could be later.

Unusual to find a similar jacket in this condition and larger sizing as they are usually smaller and in worn condition.

The jacket has lovely twill viscose lining, bone buttons finely stitched in a traditional style, finely stitched button holes, working cuffs, two inside covered pockets and traditional lined sleeves.

The back of the jacket has a laid on belt , with pleats that are carried through to the shoulders.

Traditional quality cloth in Grey Olive,

Fits as a 42 to 44 inch Large, slightly waisted to the laid on belt . See measurements below.

- Condition: excellent condition throughout, jus a couple of faint pen marks on one inside pocket flap..
