" Nigel Cabourn (born 1949)[1] is a British fashion designer known for his outerwear and vintage inspired clothing.He studied fashion design at Northumbria University between 1967 and 1971 and his studio and business is still based in the North East of England."
He began his eponymous label in the 1970s, and is known for his menswear collections that are influenced by military clothing and vintage clothing, using fabrics such as Harris Tweed and Ventile."

Up for grabs is this Men's olive Harris Tweed Beetham Duffel coat from British Designer Nigel Cabourn.

Made in England from olive heavy Harris Tweed wool, The coat has a clip closure front, two overside patch bellowed pockets, smaller patch flapped chest pocket (flaps and pockets are lined in a natural coloured cotton as the internal lining) Large wool melton collar with hook and eye closure and under collar button and tab so can be worn up or down. Single vent at the back,.The entire coat is lined in a Natural coloured cotton which is lightly quilted. The quality of the fabrics and tailoring is excellent .

Coat is tagged as a size 50 a EU size, UK 40 . Approximate measurements when laid flat are as follows

Purchased from LNCC (London) in 2010 around £1000 new. These were made in very small quantities and haven't been able to find another for sale anywhere outside of Japan.

Overall in very good condition. Recently dry cleaned to list.
